Food for Thought
I know I say this about every kit, but I really love this one. When Elise suggested a food theme, I was in before she finished her sentence. As the daughter of a restaurant man, I grew up around cooking and eating as more than just an every day necessity, and I loved infusing some of that love for food and those it gathers into this kit.
This month I used the kit straight out of the box to make a few cards for my Project Life, and playing with all the cards and patterned paper, I knew I'd want my release day project to be a couple of spreads from these last weeks, filled with good foods, as usual. Besides the cork numbers and a sheet of white card stock, I stuck to the kit only, showing what you can do with the stamp, papers, cards, flair, and the digital printable elements.
The best part of that digital printable sheet that comes with every order is that you can use it over and over again, so I never feel guilty about cutting elements out of a card, or pulled to hoard some of the illustrated circles.
It should come as no surprise when I tell you that yellow, orange, and salmon are calling my name color wise these days, and I had so much pulling them together to document a few distinctly summer treats.
Elise is sharing an absolutely stunning layout on her blog, so be sure to head over and visit her, too!
You can pick up the physical and digital kit in the Feed Your Craft shop, and if you haven't already, take a look at the previous kits and save on shipping!
